I am writing to advise that we will be carrying out a review of our governance at name of charity using Digi-Board – a service specifically designed for the charity and not-for profit sector. The review will provide us with detailed insights to how well our governance is aligned with best practice principles of the Charity Governance Code.
Digi-Board have provided us with the information below to introduce the questionnaire and explain how our Board can use the results to evaluate our charity's governance supporting our discussion as a board.
What Happens Next?
You will receive an email from Digi-Board with instructions about how to access the online questionnaire, how to set up your own unique password and the end date for its completion.
The questionnaire uses a unique question structure that is specifically designed to be educational and thought provoking and not just a “tick box” exercise. It is easy to use and can be completed in 30 to 40 minutes depending on the number of comments you wish to add. You do not have to complete the questionnaire in one sitting and can stop and return it to as many times as you wish up until the end date.
Based on the aggregate of all responses to the questionnaire, the Board will receive a report with insights about our current governance practices. The report is non-judgemental and all participants' responses are anonymous.
